Basic Pharma Technologies (BPT) is the Basic Pharma Group’s R&D and licensing unit.

R&D:
BPT manages and coordinates all R&D projects within the Basic Pharma Group. This includes own developments as well as R&D projects for other parties (other pharmaceutical companies, academic institutes, etc.). For example, we develop new formulations and are able to manage and coordinate clinical study medication. Individual activities are performed in close cooperation with Basic Pharma Manufacturing, Interdos Pharma or third parties.

By means of its extensive international network, BPT is able to manage all steps in pharmaceutical R&D, ranging from initial idea to ready-to-market product.

Licensing:
At BPT, product ideas, formulations, patents and technologies are in-licensed. In addition, BPT can act as an independent agent to lease or out-license its dossiers and/or products to other companies world wide.
