The group comprises the following entities:

• Basic Pharma Manufacturing: Manufacture of registered and non-registered pharmaceutical products and investigational medicinal products (IMPs), along with the provision of laboratory services
• ​Basic Pharma Technologies: (Co-)Development and licensing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products
• Interdos: Services and consultancy pertaining to regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance and clinical and quality assurance for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies
   

All operations are located at the Brightlands Chemelot campus in Geleen, the Netherlands. Basic Pharma companies employ around 200 employees at diverse levels of expertise and proficiency.  

Internal synergy drives innovation
The group combines its knowledge, skills and facilities from product development to commercialisation. Our product development organisation, Basic Pharma Technologies, performs development activities and out-licensing,; our product dossiers are compiled and registered by Interdos; and products are manufactured and distributed by Basic Pharma Manufacturing. Our close involvement at each step in the process, from product development and upscaling to manufacturing, has allowed us to gain tremendous expertise and know-how, and thereby innovate efficiently and effectively. We, and our partners, benefit from this innovative strength in co-development projects, leading to intensive cooperation and partnerships. Outside partners can choose to not only contribute funding or sales and marketing assistance, but also be closely involved in the project.
